How do I apply for a job at DFT?

Send your resume to HR@dft.com , along with your current salary. Make sure your contact information is easily found, including your phone number(s) and email address.

Should I call DFT instead of emailing?

No, that is not advised. DFT evaluates all candidates by their resumes, so to be consistent in our employment practices, we require that your resume is sent for review.

Will someone contact me from DFT?

If we are interested in your qualifications, we will reach out to you via email or phone.

Is there an application that I will have to complete?

Once we determine serious interest in a candidate, we will ask them to complete an employment application (this takes place after an interview(s).) Candidates will be asked to provide employment history, educational and technical credentials, as well as employment references. Every candidate for consideration must complete this application, and sign it; authorizing DFT to investigate all of the facts provided within the application.

Does DFT do any kind of background check for candidates they are considering for hire?

Yes, all candidates are subject to and must consent to a background check. You will be asked to complete an additional form asking for additional information, and giving DFT permission to conduct the check. At a minimum, we will verify the legal right to work in the U.S., as well as a criminal records search. There are other checks that may be required, depending on the position that you have applied for.

Is there testing of any kind involved in the hiring process?

Certain positions of a technical nature may require applicant testing. All testing would be relevant to the position that you have applied for.

What happens after the interview process?

DFT will offer the position to the candidate that we believe is best suited to the role that we have available. All other candidates that were interviewed will be notified if they are not chosen for the role.

If I was not chosen for a particular position, may I apply again in the future?

Yes

Does DFT hire friends or relatives of current employees?

Yes, we do. We welcome our employee referrals! However, the position that we are hiring for may not in any way report to the friend or family member that referred you. The relationship must be disclosed when you apply for the position so that we are clear from any potential conflict.
